About the Role
TechnipFMC is seeking an HR Advisor to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves supporting the People & Culture agenda by establishing, maintaining, and driving effective policy, process, and governance practices. The HR Advisor will contribute to manager and employee engagement with the people agenda by providing sound advice, guidance, and coaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day People & Culture support to managers and employees, ensuring advice is timely, practical, policy-aligned, and consistent with applicable employment requirements.
- Advise on the interpretation and application of employment policies, procedures, and practices, including matters related to conduct, capability, absence, performance, and employee concerns.
- Coach and guide managers to effectively address people matters, take ownership of people management responsibilities, and apply fair, consistent, and timely decision-making.
- Support the development, review, and implementation of People & Culture policies, processes, and local procedures, ensuring alignment with business needs, corporate standards, and governance requirements.
- Monitor the effectiveness of People & Culture processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, employee experience, and manager self-sufficiency.
- Maintain awareness of short, medium, and long-term business requirements and translate these into practical People & Culture actions that support operational priorities.
- Support disciplinary, grievance, capability, and performance-related cases by providing guidance on process, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and appropriate escalation.
- Contribute to corporate and local People & Culture projects, supporting planning, communication, implementation, change adoption, and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate with Global Mobility and relevant stakeholders in relation to international assignments, ensuring employees and managers receive appropriate guidance in line with applicable policies.
- Work closely with Shared Services to ensure employee lifecycle activities, records, documentation, and transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and within required timelines.
- Promote best practice, continuous improvement, and a culture of accountability across People & Culture activities, encouraging managers and employees to engage positively with the people agenda.
Qualifications and Experience
- Recognized certificate in Business Administration. Work experience can compensate for lack of formal education.
- Proven experience in an HR function with exposure to the full employee life cycle.
- 5-10 years of experience is required for this role.
- Global organizational exposure is preferred.
- CIPD Level 5 certificate is not essential but beneficial.
Required Skills
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to build trust, handle sensitive matters confidentially, influence managers, and support employees professionally and objectively across a multi-cultural environment.
- Technical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess symptoms, contribute to identifying root causes, and recommend appropriate solutions. Good attention to detail in HR documentation, case management, and employee records. Confident using HR systems, Microsoft Office tools, and reporting data to support HR activities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on actions within required timelines. Ability to interpret policies and apply them consistently to practical people matters.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern Region, where the HR Advisor will work closely with HR Business Partners, People & Culture teams, Shared Services, and the GRO team to ensure compliance and effective HR delivery.
