About the Inclusion & Diversity Specialist Role
GE Vernova is seeking an Inclusion & Diversity Specialist to join its team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time position is central to fostering an inclusive workplace culture and enhancing employee experience across the site. The role involves balancing strategic initiatives with practical execution to support a positive and engaging environment for all employees.
Role Purpose and Scope
The Inclusion & Diversity & Employee Experience Specialist will serve as a champion for an inclusive workplace culture. This position balances strategic I&D initiatives with the tactical execution of employee engagement programs, facility branding, and HR administrative support. The specialist acts as the primary point of contact for internal communications, site-wide event planning, and coordinating external stakeholder visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to drive Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) programs that foster belonging and equity.
- Support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and coordinate culture-building activities.
- Plan and execute team-building events, town halls, and site-wide celebrations to boost morale and connectivity.
- Manage the internal newsletter, highlighting company news, I&D achievements, and employee spotlights.
- Oversee site-wide facility branding to ensure the workspace reflects the company’s identity and values.
- Coordinate logistics for high-level site visits, including those by leadership teams, government officials, and key customers.
- Ensure the facility environment is prepared and professional for all external guests.
- Provide support for HR processes specifically related to contractor hiring and onboarding.
- Offer administrative support for meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and facility coordination.
- Maintain records and documentation for HR and event-related activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write compelling newsletters and site announcements.
Desired Characteristics
- Proven ability to manage multiple event logistics, stakeholder visits, and administrative workflows simultaneously.
- High emotional intelligence and discretion.
- Ability to interact comfortably and professionally with senior leadership and external government/customer representatives.
Work Location
This full-time position is based in Dammam, within the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia.
