IT Solution Analyst Business Solutions (eCommerce & Marketplace)

Job Summary

Eram Talent is seeking an experienced IT Solution Analyst - Business Solutions (eCommerce & Marketplace) to support the eMarketPlace platform and related digital commerce solutions. This contract role is based in Dammam, Eastern Province, and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The analyst will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable technology solutions and supporting their design and implementation.

Role Overview

The IT Solution Analyst will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver effective eCommerce and marketplace capabilities. This involves understanding business needs, defining solution approaches, and supporting the full solution lifecycle from design to post-production stabilization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in eMarketPlace solutions, commerce solutions, eCommerce platforms, and MACH architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solution requirements.
• Support the design, implementation, and enhancement of eMarketPlace and eCommerce solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand processes, pain points, and future requirements.
• Define solution approaches aligned with business objectives, enterprise architecture, security, integration, and technology standards.
• Support the implementation and optimization of CommerceTools and other commerce-related platforms.
• Work with solution architects, developers, product owners, vendors, and business teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Analyze existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and digital transformation.
• Support MACH architecture principles, including Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless approaches.
• Support guided buying capabilities and digital procurement/customer purchasing journeys.
• Define and document requirements for eCatalogue solutions, product information, pricing, availability, and related marketplace capabilities.
• Develop functional specifications, user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Support integration requirements between the marketplace/eCommerce platform and enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, PIM, payment, logistics, identity, etc.).
• Participate in solution evaluations, technical discussions, proof-of-concepts, and vendor assessments.
• Work with development and testing teams to ensure delivered solutions meet business and functional requirements.
• Support system testing, UAT, defect resolution, deployment, and post-production stabilization.
• Identify risks, dependencies, gaps, and opportunities associated with proposed solutions.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise technology standards.
• Prepare solution documentation and maintain relevant technical and functional artifacts.
• Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement for eMarketPlace and commerce solutions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in IT solution analysis, specifically within business solutions.
• Strong experience in eMarketPlace solutions and commerce solutions.
• Proficiency with eCommerce platforms, including CommerceTools.
• Knowledge of MACH architecture principles.
• Experience with guided buying and eCatalogue solutions.

Work Type and Location

This is a contract position located in Dammam, Eastern Province.
