LEAD API PRODUCT LINE

About the Role

The Lead - API Product Line is responsible for the comprehensive management and performance of the API product line. This full-time role is based in Dammam, Eastern region, within a prominent regional corporate firm in the Oil & Gas joint venture sector. The position focuses on ensuring operational efficiency, quality compliance, delivery performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction for the product line.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all API product line operations from order receipt through production, inspection, testing, and final delivery.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and resources.
• Monitor production schedules and prioritize activities to meet customer commitments.
• Drive production activities involving CNC Turning, Milling, Horizontal Boring, Deep Hole Drilling, and related manufacturing processes.
• Ensure manufacturing processes adhere to approved procedures, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with API Standards, ISO requirements, customer specifications, and company quality systems.
• Lead internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
• Collaborate with planning, procurement, stores, and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow and production continuity.
• Lead and develop teams consisting of machinists, supervisors, inspectors, engineers, and support personnel.
• Participate in customer meetings, project reviews, audits, and technical discussions.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and productivity improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with all company HSE policies and procedures.

Manufacturing and Operational Excellence

This role drives manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement within the API product line. It involves implementing best manufacturing practices to improve throughput, efficiency, and reliability, and supporting process optimization initiatives to enhance operational performance. The Lead will also focus on driving First Pass Yield (FPY) improvement initiatives across the product line.

Leadership and Team Development

The position requires strong leadership to coordinate cross-functional teams across production, machining, quality, engineering, planning, procurement, and logistics. Responsibilities include establishing clear objectives and performance expectations for team members, identifying skill gaps, and supporting employee development initiatives. The Lead will foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, engagement, and continuous learning.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Over 10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and perform within an API product line.
• Experience in driving manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in ensuring compliance with API, ISO, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership skills for coordinating cross-functional teams.
