Legal Specialist Supply Chain

About the Role

Rawaj-HCM is seeking a Legal Specialist Supply Chain to provide comprehensive legal support and advice, with a focus on the logistics and transportation sector. This full-time role is based in Dammam, Eastern Province, and involves drafting contracts, managing legal disputes, and ensuring compliance with Saudi laws and regulations to protect the company's legal and commercial interests.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts and agreements, including those related to logistics, transportation, warehousing, suppliers, and customers.
• Provide legal advice and support to business departments on contractual, commercial, operational, and regulatory matters.
• Represent the company and manage legal cases before courts and judicial authorities.
• Prepare and review legal memoranda, pleadings, responses, objections, and other legal documents.
• Manage legal disputes and litigation from initial assessment through resolution.
• Handle financial claims, enforcement proceedings, promissory notes, and legal settlements.
• Review legal violations and complaints, conducting internal investigations as required.
• Provide legal recommendations and risk assessments concerning disputes, claims, contracts, and business operations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi laws and regulations relevant to the logistics and transportation sector.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting company operations and provide recommendations.
• Manage cases and legal proceedings via the Najiz platform and other government platforms.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel and relevant parties when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, legal cases, claims, disputes, and other legal documentation.
• Prepare periodic legal reports covering contract status, litigation, legal risks, and ongoing cases.
• Support management in identifying and mitigating legal and regulatory risks across the business.
• Ensure proper legal documentation and compliance practices are maintained throughout the company's operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant legal role.
• Strong understanding of Saudi laws and regulations, particularly those pertaining to logistics and transportation.
• Proven ability to draft and review complex legal documents.
• Experience in managing legal disputes and litigation.
