Join Gulf Insulation Group as a Cutting Machine Operator!
Are you passionate about precision and quality in the manufacturing industry? Gulf Insulation Group (GIG) is seeking a skilled Cutting Machine Operator to contribute to our commitment to excellence in insulation solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive and verify job data from the RMR, BOM, and Packing List; input cutting data into the machine including length and number of panels.
  • Set up the machine for specific job requirements such as left or right laps.
  • Operate the cutting machine to ensure a smooth flow of panels while adjusting cutting speeds for both the Band Saw and Circular Disk Saw.
  • Conduct comprehensive quality checks on the cut panels for length, width, thickness, and squareness, and inspect for visual defects.
  • Monitor blade life and replace blades when necessary; communicate with Decoiler and Wrapping sections regarding any scrapped or missing panels.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • High school diploma or Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certification or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with cutting, shearing, or sawing machinery (preferably in sandwich panel line).
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
