About the Role

Al Qaryan is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join their team in Dammam. This full-time position focuses on planning and coordinating mechanical maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and support production goals.

Role Overview

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for the meticulous planning and coordination of mechanical preventive and periodic maintenance for Melt shop equipment. This role involves preparing, tracking, and issuing reports on maintenance activities, including manpower, spare parts consumption, and associated costs, with the primary objective of enhancing equipment performance and achieving the production plan. The role also includes planning and coordinating activities within SAP PM and MM modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities, producing monthly and yearly maintenance plans.
• Prepare, coordinate, and track plans for periodical, minor, and major mechanical maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and issue mechanical preventive maintenance orders, recording feedback data in the maintenance database.
• Track equipment failures and their impact on maintenance activity plans.
• Prepare and issue reports following the execution of mechanical maintenance activities (periodical, minor, and major).
• Coordinate mechanical maintenance section activities with other sections and departments.
• Monitor and report on expenditure items, specifically spare parts and maintenance costs.
• Oversee the preparation and execution of spare parts and work budgets for the Mechanical Maintenance section.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by the direct manager, in accordance with company rules.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree or higher diploma is required.
• Experience ranging from 3 to 10 years is necessary.

• Proficiency and knowledge in maintenance activities.

Work Environment

Candidates must be willing to work within the Melt shop or in an industrial environment that may involve high temperatures, noise, and dust.
