About the Role

GSK is seeking an Oncology Account Manager for a full-time position in Dammam, Eastern Region. This role involves managing the upcoming Haematology portfolio within an assigned territory, focusing on engagement with relevant stakeholders and delivering patient-focused detailing to healthcare professionals (HCPs). The Oncology Account Manager will be responsible for achieving yearly sales targets and ensuring timely access to GSK’s Oncology products for cancer patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Successfully launch GSK's new Hematology portfolio in Saudi Arabia.
  • Establish strong relationships with Hematology Key External Experts, healthcare institutions, and Oncology societies.
  • Achieve sales targets and LEAD KPIs for the assigned territory, contributing to overall country brand and therapy area objectives.
  • Implement commercial strategies and provide appropriate solutions as a trusted advisor to HCPs.
  • Monitor product performance weekly and monthly, recommending actions through a robust territory business plan aligned with commercial sales strategy.
  • Support marketing tasks, including new campaign development and rollout, securing necessary medical and regulatory approvals.
  • Develop market intelligence and initiate forecasting in alignment with commercial trade channel and marketing teams.
  • Drive end-to-end patient solutions and tracking to support product supply, coordinating with supply chain and commercial trade channel teams.
  • Collaborate with the tender team on proposed prices, RFQ follow-up, and the overall tender process.
  • Coordinate with the market access team to develop and implement access plans and roadmaps for key accounts.
  • Conduct frequent external meetings and interactions with HCPs to drive disease and product awareness/education.
  • Prioritize efforts and resources through market segmentation and targeting to optimize activities.
  • Establish long-lasting relationships with scientific societies and KEEs to leverage advocacy and support patient care.
  • Implement patient-focused detailing through product and disease knowledge.
  • Ensure all expenses are maintained within budgets and resources are optimized.

Compliance Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain compliance knowledge, implementing governance processes to adhere to GSK's codes, policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Ensure strong business partnerships with stakeholders to manage issues and determine approved courses of action.
  • Develop collaborative relationships based on trust, openness, honesty, and transparency, demonstrating authenticity, values, and integrity.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Saudi National.
  • Pharmacy degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • A Saudi Commission for Health Specialist card (SCFHS) is required.
  • Successful track record of performance.
  • Oncology/Hematology experience is required for external candidates.
  • Internal candidates must have track records for the past two years (two A or A & B).

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including sound business analytics, business case development, and commercial modeling.
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate high-quality scientific content effectively.
  • Ability to manage a larger geographical territory with a proven record of good performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Advanced understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and readiness to lead GSK's new ways of working.
  • High commitment to ethical values-based management.
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and persistent, able to meet deadlines and be effective under pressure.
  • Ability to travel more than 40% of the time.

Work Environment

This role involves working closely with the Oncology cross-functional team to implement commercial strategies. The position is based in Dammam, Eastern Region, and requires a full-time commitment with potential for significant travel.
