The Role: Operator III, Offline Job

Based in Dammam, the Operator III, Offline Job, specifically functions as a Primary Slitter Operator. This role is responsible for the operation of the main slitter machine, ensuring production targets are met with consistent quality that aligns with customer requirements. The position involves taking full control of all main slitter machine activities in adherence to standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Load mill rolls onto the slitter, set up the machine, and load paper cores (cut to proper sizes) according to the production plan.
• Ensure all set-ups comply with Slitter Job Order requirements to meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Operate the slitter machine effectively and in accordance with established safety standards.
• Inspect and monitor the quality of rolls during slitting and place them in designated areas for further processing.
• Perform Quality Control (QC) checks as per slitted roll specifications, both during and after the slitting process.
• Conduct visual inspections, including winding quality and overall appearance of produced rolls.
• Test and record roll hardness using a Test Hammer.
• Unload slitted rolls and transport them to the packing area or designated semi-finished goods area.
• Issue labels for produced rolls and accurately enter production data into the Oracle / Bonfanti System Application.
• Record production data (input/output details), prepare shift reports, and maintain a logbook of shift slitting activities.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the slitter machine and the surrounding work area.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma Degree.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, contributing to Rowad's manufacturing operations.
