About the Role

TASNEE is seeking an Operator, Offline, specifically a Primary Slitter Operator, to join their team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves operating the main slitter machine to achieve production targets while maintaining consistent quality standards aligned with customer requirements. The Operator will manage all main slitter machine activities according to established standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Load mill rolls to the slitter, set up the machine, and load paper cores (cut to proper sizes) as per the production plan.
• Ensure the correctness of every set-up as specified by the Slitter Job Order to meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Operate the slitter machine effectively and in full compliance with safety standards.
• Inspect and monitor the quality of rolls being slitted, then place them in the designated area for subsequent actions.
• Perform Quality Control (QC) checks according to slitted roll specifications, both during and after the completion of slitting.
• Conduct visual inspections, including winding quality and the overall appearance of the produced roll.
• Test and record roll hardness using a Test Hammer.
• Unload slitted rolls and transport them to the packing area or the designated area for semi-finished goods.
• Issue labels for produced rolls and accurately enter production data into the Oracle / Bonfanti System Application.
• Record production data, including input/output details, prepare shift reports, and maintain a logbook documenting shift slitting activities.
• Maintain the cleanliness of both the Slitter machine and the surrounding slitter area.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in operating slitter machines or similar production equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Proficiency in performing quality checks and maintaining production records.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a manufacturing environment, requiring adherence to production schedules and safety protocols.
