Pricing Specialist Project & Breakbulk

About the Role

GAC Group is seeking a Pricing Specialist – Project & Breakbulk to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves developing competitive pricing and profitable logistics solutions for project cargo, breakbulk, and heavy-lift shipments across Saudi Arabia. The specialist will collaborate with customers, carriers, and operations teams to support commercial growth through tailored transport solutions and effective cost management.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit competitive commercial proposals for RFQs, tenders, and strategic business opportunities.
• Develop end-to-end logistics solutions encompassing air, sea, land, and port operations.
• Negotiate rates and commercial terms with shipping lines, transport providers, heavy lift operators, and subcontractors.
• Work on RFQs, tenders, and strategic customer bids with commercially viable pricing proposals.
• Conduct cost analysis to ensure profitability and margin control.
• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure offered solutions are operationally feasible and efficient.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, transport companies, and service providers.
• Monitor and update market trends and freight rates.
• Maintain pricing databases.
• Prepare monthly reports and analysis based on quoted, secured, and lost business.
• Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries in line with set KPIs and business opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
• Proven experience in pricing Project Cargo and Breakbulk logistics.
• Extensive knowledge of local logistics markets, ports, transport regulations, and project cargo requirements within Saudi Arabia.
• Demonstrated experience handling heavy-lift, oversized, and industrial cargo shipments.
• Experience supporting tenders, RFQs, and complex customer proposals.
• Experience working with EPC contractors and projects within the energy, oil & gas, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
• An existing network of carriers, transport companies, and logistics service providers across Saudi Arabia.
