Project and Heavy Lift Manager

About the Role

PSA BDP is seeking a Project and Heavy Lift Manager to join their team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing the commercial development, bidding, procurement, planning, coordination, and execution of project cargo and heavy lift movements. The manager will ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery in line with customer and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and expand the Projects & Heavy Lift business, identifying new opportunities and strengthening relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
• Lead commercial proposals, tenders, pricing, and contract negotiations, collaborating with the Sales team to secure new projects.
• Oversee the planning and execution of project cargo, heavy lift, and complex transportation activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and according to customer requirements.
• Manage project resources, subcontractors, and operational service providers, monitoring performance and addressing challenges.
• Take ownership of the financial performance and profitability of the Saudi Projects & Heavy Lift business, managing annual budgets, revenue targets, gross profit, and operating costs.
• Monitor project costs, margins, cash flow, and financial performance, providing regular business forecasts and performance reports.
• Lead, manage, and develop team members within the Projects & Heavy Lift department, setting clear objectives and ensuring accountability.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and industry requirements, maintaining high standards of health, safety, security, and environmental practices.
• Work closely with regional leadership to implement the MEA Projects & Heavy Lift business strategy and support regional business opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in project cargo and heavy lift management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage commercial development, bidding, procurement, and execution of complex logistics projects.
• Experience in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and risk management principles in logistics operations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, requiring close collaboration with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regional leadership.
