Projects & Heavy Lifts Product Manager

About the Role

PSA BDP is seeking a Projects & Heavy Lifts Product Manager to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves developing and managing business within the projects and heavy lifts sector, focusing on key industrial verticals. The successful candidate will be responsible for both business development and operational oversight of project logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Oil & Gas, Energy, Construction, and other industrial sectors in KSA.
• Nurture and develop relationships with existing and key customers through regular face-to-face meetings.
• Source vendors, procure rates, and develop solutions for customer requests.
• Identify project risks and recommend appropriate resolutions.
• Prepare and submit quotes, proposals, method statements, and transportation plans for prospective and existing clients.
• Provide onsite support for supervision of loading/unloading, packing, and coordination of project moves.
• Develop project budgets with a focus on cost optimization and reduction.
• Ensure project execution adheres to defined budgets and timelines.
• Manage the project vendor team to ensure effective and efficient operational execution.
• Conduct regular project status meetings with the project team and provide timely progress updates to customers.
• Address questions and concerns from the project team, management, and customers professionally.
• Ensure project deliverables meet customer expectations and provide support and guidance to the project team as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all internal procedures and government regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; additional qualifications in supply chain management are beneficial.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project and heavy lift transport, or within the Oil & Gas, Energy EPC, or construction verticals.
• Demonstrated operations background with experience in pricing, procurement, and commercial aspects.

Required Skills

• Excellent knowledge of the KSA markets.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, requiring active engagement with clients and vendors in the Eastern Region and across KSA.
