The Role: Quality Control Specialist

Wholly Hearty is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join its team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are ready to contribute to a growing, mission-driven brand. The specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the Quality team by ensuring that all products and processes adhere to company quality standards, food safety requirements, and applicable regulatory frameworks.

Key Objective

The primary objective of this role is to ensure comprehensive compliance with established quality standards and food safety regulations. This includes adherence to internal company policies, as well as external regulatory requirements such as ISO 22000 and SFDA regulations, throughout the production lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods in accordance with approved procedures.
• Perform routine pre-operational and operational inspections of processing lines.
• Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, food safety requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety guidelines.
• Execute routine quality checks and maintain accurate inspection records.
• Report and segregate non-conforming materials or products, and communicate quality issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP principles, company procedures, and SFDA regulations.
• Support internal audits, product traceability initiatives, quality investigations, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Verify that measuring and inspection equipment is clean, functional, and calibrated as required.
• Adhere to all company health, safety, hygiene, and food safety policies.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Quality Control Specialist position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. This role is suitable for individuals at the entry level who are eager to develop their expertise in quality control and food safety within a manufacturing environment.
