About Musco Lighting and the Role

Musco Lighting, a global leader in sports and large-area lighting solutions, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join its team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role involves inspecting and analyzing the quality of received and manufactured parts to ensure adherence to defined specifications. The technician will also be responsible for resolving non-conformances with both vendors and internal manufacturing departments, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Musco, a privately held company since 1976, has projects in 135 countries and employs over 1,800 team members worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis on nonconforming parts and customer returns, making appropriate disposition decisions.
• Conduct detailed layout inspections and accurately document the results.
• Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Analyze product quality to ensure compliance with standards.
• Resolve quality concerns and problems in collaboration with in-house personnel and external vendors.
• Execute planned improvement activities to enhance quality processes.
• Prepare and implement comprehensive inspection plans.
• Conduct process and component audits to maintain quality control.
• Perform gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (R&R) studies.
• Undertake other duties as assigned to support quality assurance operations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A two-year technical degree is preferred.
• Experience level of 0-1 years is required for this full-time role.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and component drawings.
• Ability to operate various measuring and inspection equipment, including CMM, granite, surface plate, height gage, micrometers, calipers, and other specialized gages.
• Competence in working with mathematical concepts, including solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Excellent analytical skills for problem-solving and data interpretation.
• Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong technical aptitude.
• Demonstrated attention to accuracy and detail in all tasks.

Work Location

This position is based in Dammam, Eastern region, where the Quality Assurance Technician will work as part of a dedicated team focused on maintaining high-quality standards for Musco Lighting's products.
