The Engineering Transformation team within IET focuses on enhancing the quality of engineering processes.

Role Overview: Sales Advisor - Technical Sales

As a Sales Advisor - Technical Sales, you will be based in Dammam, Eastern region, and operate in a full-time capacity. This role involves originating sales by leveraging Baker Hughes technology and identifying optimal technical and commercial upgrade solutions for brownfield projects. You will be responsible for promoting the business value proposition of Baker Hughes technology within Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originating sales by positioning Baker Hughes technology and identifying the best technical and commercial upgrade solutions for brownfield projects.
  • Promoting the business value proposition of Baker Hughes technology.
  • Collaborating with DTI (Demand to Inquiry, feasibility technical team), regional sales, account sales, commercial, and technical proposal staff and functions.
  • Managing products and systems, primarily through expertise in rotating machinery and control technical knowledge, market understanding, and awareness of the operational environment.
  • Handling complex sales processes that require involvement from multiple stakeholders, both client-side and internal.
  • Managing important client accounts for specific product lines.
  • Cooperating with technical colleagues to address customer requests and discuss local conditions.
  • Covering sales activities across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • A minimum of 5 additional years of experience in the rotating equipment industry, including gas and steam turbines and compressors.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to lead programs and projects effectively.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
