About the Role
Linde Middle East is seeking a Scheduling Manager to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience and is central to ensuring the efficient and safe execution of logistics and planning operations across the region.
Core Responsibilities
- Apply Linde Integrity criteria across all working activities.
- Manage, check, and approve transportation contractor performance, ensuring alignment with established procedures.
- Monitor both contracted and company-owned fleets to ensure adherence to safety procedures and Linde standards.
- Oversee the safe transport execution of all departmental activities, maintaining overall jurisdiction to achieve operational goals.
- Ensure that all transportation activities comply with local regulations and Linde’s safety procedures.
- Manage KSA, Bulk, and PGP product interactions within the area of responsibility.
- Coordinate planning and take necessary actions to utilize and maintain sufficient cylinder stocks and asset management across all plants and customer cylinder holdings, in close communication with PGP and Sales management.
- Monitor departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and propose new ideas or procedures for continuous improvement.
- Ensure accidents and incidents are reported according to corporate, regional, and local standards, investigated thoroughly, and appropriate measures are taken to prevent recurrence.
Strategic Planning and Improvement
- Support the identification of opportunities and potential areas for productivity and efficiency improvements within Logistics and Planning Operations.
- Coordinate and facilitate activities and commitments with other departments, including Sales, Information Systems, Fi-CO, and other Business Support Units.
- Develop, implement, and support Lean Six Sigma, Productivity, Cost Reduction, and Digitalization projects within Logistics & Planning Operations.
- Execute contracted strategic bulk sourcing agreements, product SWAP, mid-term, and long-term strategies to sustain the supply chain.
- Align with REE Planning & Logistics Teams on all agreed KPI reporting and ensure all Supply Chain activities are managed in line with annual targets and local budget expectations.
- Lead and initiate network studies to enhance productivity in sourcing and logistics areas, including cross-border interactions.
- Build necessary business infrastructures to ensure smooth supply chain operations, such as network optimization across the responsible area.
- Run and sponsor supply chain improvement and digitalization projects, including transport safety missions.
- Manage cylinder park and related infrastructure and investment requirements.
Required Qualifications
- A degree from a Technical University or in Engineering, with a preference for Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgy Engineering, or Logistics.
- A Master's Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is considered an advantage.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Fluent in English.
- Relevant knowledge of local legislation and standards.

- Ability to think strategically, analyze situations, review data, and develop and implement effective action plans.
- Aptitude for working under pressure, managing an overflow of information, and meeting tight deadlines, requiring strong prioritization and organizational skills.
- Capacity for innovative thinking to generate new ideas and concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
