Senior Electrician

About the Role

Zahid Tractor is seeking a Senior Electrician to join their team in Dammam. This full-time role involves comprehensive electrical support for rental equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The Senior Electrician will be responsible for performing installations, commissioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, fault analysis, and repairs on a variety of rental equipment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to perform assigned jobs in a timely and accurate manner, developing the initiative to learn and execute electrical skills independently and with confidence. Core responsibilities include:

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical problems on all rental equipment.
• Submit accurate and complete Inspection Reports, as required by service procedures at the site.
• Note and report all defects, damage, misuse, abuse, or lack of maintenance on inspected equipment, as and when required.
• In conjunction with other service personnel, fit, connect, and arrange setups, including cabling of Generators and Auxiliary equipment, in accordance with technical specifications/requirements, while maintaining safety precautions.
• Perform manual synchronization of Generator sets to live utility signals using the EMCP control panel.
• Work overtime as and when required to meet operational demands.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair, preferably within a heavy equipment or rental machinery context.

Internal and External Collaboration

The Senior Electrician will engage in regular interactions to ensure effective operations and customer satisfaction.

• Internal Contacts: Day-to-day work-related interaction with the Workshop Team and communication with the Service Supervisor for operational alignment and self-awareness.
• External Contacts: Providing customers with updates on the progress and completion of assigned jobs.
