The Senior I&C Engineer Role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior I&C Engineer to join its Engineering & Science department. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and involves contributing to critical projects within the company's operations. The role requires a professional with foundational experience in Instrumentation and Control systems.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior I&C Engineer will be responsible for various aspects of Instrumentation and Control systems, ensuring their effective design, implementation, and maintenance. Specific responsibilities include:

• Participating in the design and development of I&C systems for energy-related projects.
• Assisting with the selection, specification, and procurement of instrumentation and control equipment.
• Supporting the installation, commissioning, and testing of I&C systems.
• Contributing to the troubleshooting and resolution of I&C system issues.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate I&C solutions.
• Adhering to relevant industry standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Senior I&C Engineer position should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience ranging from 0 to 1 year in Instrumentation and Control engineering.
• Understanding of I&C principles, including PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems.
• Familiarity with engineering design tools and software relevant to I&C.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
