The Role of Service Technician

YES Machinery is seeking a Service Technician to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience who are prepared to provide essential technical support and maintenance for industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, demonstration, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and servicing of industrial machinery.
• Execute machine setup, alignment, calibration, testing, and commissioning procedures.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and basic control-system faults.
• Respond to customer breakdowns and carry out both preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Provide technical support and basic machine/operator training to customers.
• Prepare comprehensive service reports and coordinate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or ITI qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and basic automation systems.
• Familiarity with components such as motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulic valves/cylinders, pneumatic systems, VFDs, sensors, relays, contactors, and control panels.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, hydraulic/pneumatic circuits, and machine manuals.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with basic diagnostic tools, including multimeters and pressure gauges.
• Good understanding of machine safety systems and safe maintenance practices.

Work Environment and Additional Requirements

This full-time role requires a valid Saudi Driving License. The successful candidate must be willing to travel across Saudi Arabia and perform work at various customer sites as needed.

Advantageous Experience

Experience with the following types of industrial machinery will be considered an advantage:

• Machine tools, CNC machines, press brakes, shearing machines, laser cutting machines.
• Rolling machines, drilling machines, waterjet machines, welding equipment.
• Industrial cleaning equipment, vacuum lifting systems, material handling equipment, or similar industrial machinery.
