The Role: Junior Service Technician

Hytorc Middle East & North Africa is seeking a Junior Service Technician to join its team in Dammam, Eastern region. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring 0-1 years of experience. The Junior Service Technician will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of industrial bolting tools and equipment, both within the workshop and at customer locations. This role also involves professional interaction with customers to address service needs and maintain strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair and calibrate tools, pumps, and equipment requiring mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic repair.
• Perform preventive maintenance services on industrial bolting systems.
• Conduct pre-testing of hydraulic/pneumatic pumps, tools, and links to ensure proper form, fit, and function.
• Troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test pumps, motors, and tools within the workshop.
• Manage stock control, including daily, weekly, and monthly organization, monitoring reorder levels, and conducting stock takes.
• Provide technical support to the customer service team, including routine technical administration and the production of quotation documentation.
• Maintain the workshop to ensure a clean and organized working environment.
• Maintain accurate record-keeping for goods received and goods dispatched.
• Implement and manage stock rotation practices.
• Perform quality checks and control for all incoming and outgoing equipment.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated ability to work with hands and in mechanically oriented situations.
• Ability to routinely lift 10-35 Kg and occasionally lift 35 Kg or greater.
• Capable of performing work during prolonged standing for up to 8 hours, with frequent bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching.
• Must be able to wear protective equipment as required by safety standards.
• Ability to respond positively and effectively to various situations.
