About the Role

WISKOTS is seeking a Sr. Field Operations Supervisor to oversee and coordinate field-service activities in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position requires a strong background in Saudi Aramco projects and the ability to manage multidisciplinary field teams. The role combines senior field supervision with technical and project-support responsibilities, ensuring all activities are planned, executed, and documented to meet technical compliance, client requirements, project schedules, and WISKOTS operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise field operations including coating and paint removal, surface preparation, metallic clamp installation, online leak-sealing support, coating application support, and pipeline integrity activities.
  • Mobilize, organize, and manage field teams of at least 20 personnel, equipment, materials, and site resources.
  • Conduct daily coordination and toolbox meetings, allocate activities, establish priorities, and monitor manpower productivity.
  • Ensure execution aligns with approved procedures, method statements, inspection requirements, and client instructions.
  • Monitor project progress, operational constraints, equipment performance, material consumption, and manpower utilization.
  • Coordinate shift arrangements, work fronts, permits, and interfaces with clients and other contractors.
  • Identify and resolve site problems promptly while maintaining safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
  • Prepare and review method statements, work procedures, job-execution plans, and risk assessments.
  • Review client specifications, drawings, and technical standards to identify any gaps or ambiguities.
  • Prepare daily reports, progress reports, incident records, and project-completion documentation.
  • Participate in site visits, technical assessments, and pre-project evaluations.
  • Estimate manpower, equipment, consumables, and project duration for field services.
  • Support the development of project execution schedules and resource plans.
  • Apply project management principles for scope, time, cost, quality, and risk.
  • Track actual progress against planned progress and report impacts to the Operations Manager.
  • Coordinate with various internal departments and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco worksite practices, documentation, and safety expectations.
  • Enforce WISKOTS and client Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) requirements.
  • Stop any unsafe or technically unacceptable activity and escalate as necessary.
  • Ensure all tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment are inspected and fit for use.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is an advantage.
  • Relevant technical training or certification in coating, surface preparation, mechanical maintenance, pipeline services, leak sealing, or industrial field services is preferred.
  • Valid Saudi Aramco approvals, certifications, or documented previous approvals relevant to field supervision are strongly preferred.
  • A valid Saudi driving license is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant industrial field experience, preferably in oil and gas, petrochemical, pipeline, refinery, or industrial maintenance.
  • At least 3 years in a field supervisory or site leadership position.
  • Demonstrated Saudi Aramco project experience is mandatory.
  • Proven experience supervising field teams of at least 20 personnel.
  • Relevant experience in one or more of the following: coating and paint removal; surface preparation; industrial coating activities; metallic clamp installation; online leak sealing or mechanical repair support; pipeline maintenance and integrity services; mechanical field services; specialized industrial-service projects.
  • Experience preparing method statements, procedures, technical reports, and project-execution documentation.
  • Experience in project evaluation, resource planning, productivity estimation, and field-cost estimation.
  • Experience coordinating with clients, main contractors, inspectors, and QHSE teams.

Technical and Project Management Skills

The ideal candidate possesses sound knowledge of project evaluation, technical review, estimation, method-statement preparation, operational planning, and project-management principles. This includes the ability to develop clear descriptions of work methodology, manpower deployment, and execution sequences. Strong analytical skills are required for identifying technical gaps, ambiguities, and areas needing clarification. Effective coordination with clients, main contractors, and inspection personnel is essential for ensuring Saudi Aramco and client compliance.

QHSE and Compliance

A core aspect of this role is the strict enforcement of WISKOTS and client QHSE requirements across all project locations. This involves ensuring field personnel understand approved method statements, risk assessments, and emergency arrangements. The supervisor must be capable of stopping any unsafe or technically unacceptable activity and escalating the matter immediately. Coordination with QHSE personnel for permits, inspections, observations, and incident reporting is critical. Maintaining valid records of Saudi Aramco approvals and ensuring all necessary permits and site readiness are in place before commencing work are also key responsibilities.
