About the Role

Jadeer Logistics is seeking a Supply Chain Lead to join their team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role is responsible for the comprehensive management of procurement and inventory functions, ensuring efficient sourcing and robust inventory control to support operational continuity.

Core Purpose and Strategic Objectives

The primary purpose of this position is to enhance procurement efficiency, achieve cost savings, and strengthen supplier performance. The Supply Chain Lead will ensure high inventory availability and accuracy, maintain strong governance, and uphold internal controls. A key objective includes supporting the transition towards centralized procurement through ERP implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for procurement and inventory management.
  • Lead the integration of centralized procurement processes through ERP system implementation.
  • Enforce Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Inventory Management policies across the organization.
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing activities, including supplier pre-qualification, tendering, negotiation, and contracting for goods, services, and spare parts.
  • Develop framework agreements and initiatives for supplier consolidation to achieve cost efficiencies.
  • Oversee purchase requisitions, purchase orders, approvals, and ensure compliance with policy.
  • Monitor market prices, supply risks, and relevant cost trends to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Manage spare parts and consumables catalogues, defining min-max levels and reorder points.
  • Monitor stock replenishment, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and supplier delivery performance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all stock movements (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments) within the ERP system.
  • Oversee cycle counts and annual physical inventory verification activities.
  • Monitor obsolete, expired, and slow-moving inventory, coordinating their disposal processes.
  • Ensure adequate stock availability to meet fleet and operational requirements.
  • Lead and develop the Procurement and Inventory/Stores teams, providing coaching and technical guidance.
  • Collaborate effectively with Finance, Operations, Workshop, and other internal stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on procurement and inventory.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing supply chain strategies.
  • Proven involvement in ERP implementation projects, particularly concerning procurement modules.

Work Environment
