Transformer Installation & Service Supervisor

About the Role

Siemens Energy is seeking a Transformer Installation & Service Supervisor to join their team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role involves travel across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as required, focusing on the testing and commissioning of power transformers and their related sub-equipment. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in this field.

Impact and Responsibilities

The Transformer Installation & Service Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the proper installation, testing, and commissioning of power transformers. This role requires technical expertise and coordination skills to manage site operations effectively.

• Perform testing and commissioning of power transformers with various voltages, ratings, and configurations, including associated sub-equipment, and ensure proper handling of testing tools.
• Provide technical clarification with sub-suppliers, designers, and service providers.
• Plan and develop site logistics for installation, commissioning, and construction works.
• Support the project manager in risk and claim management.
• Ensure quality on construction sites, including non-conformance reporting (NCR).
• Maintain awareness of EHS requirements on construction sites, such as risk assessment, loss prevention, Zero Harm principles, and work-at-height safety.
• Coordinate and follow up with clients, consultants, and subcontractors at sites.
• Arrange all necessary documents and forms to acquire site gate passes for labor and equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in testing and commissioning of power transformers.
• Ability to travel across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as per job requirements.
• Proficiency in handling testing tools for power transformers.
• Understanding of EHS requirements and site safety protocols.
