Alfanar Projects is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Project Engineer – Transformer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading transformer projects from initial design through to site execution and commissioning.

Role Overview

The Sr. Project Engineer – Transformer will be responsible for the end-to-end management of transformer projects. This includes overseeing design, manufacturing, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The role requires strong project leadership, customer coordination, and technical support to ensure successful project delivery within established schedules and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams throughout the entire transformer project lifecycle.
• Manage project execution, including schedules, budgets, risks, and customer requirements.
• Oversee transformer erection, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and all site activities.
• Coordinate effectively with engineering, production, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure project success.
• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement, resource optimization, and technical support.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Diploma holders with extensive relevant experience may also be considered.
• 8-10 years of experience in power transformer services, including design, erection, testing, and commissioning.
• Minimum of 5 years of managerial or project leadership experience within the transformer industry.
• Strong knowledge of transformer troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in transformer project management within a manufacturing environment.
• PMP certification and proficiency in MS Project/MS Office are preferred.
