Assistant / Associate / Full Professor in Mathematics

About the Role

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) is seeking a qualified individual for a full-time academic position as an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Mathematics. This role is based in Dhahran and is open exclusively to Saudi nationals holding a PhD degree.

Department Overview

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at KFUPM is dedicated to both research and teaching. The successful candidate will contribute to the department's academic mission through active participation in these core areas.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to dedicate approximately 35-40 hours per week to professional duties, which include:

• Delivering lectures and conducting teaching activities.
• Engaging in research activities and contributing to scholarly publications.
• Providing academic advising to students.
• Undertaking administrative duties as required by the department.
• Performing any other academic duties assigned by the academic department.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a PhD degree in Mathematics.
• Be a Saudi national.

Language of Instruction

The medium of instruction at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) is English. Proficiency in English is therefore essential for this role.
