About the Role

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is seeking a Cardiac Care Nurse 3 to provide advanced-level nursing care within an assigned unit in Dhahran. This full-time role involves supporting operational processes, maintaining high standards of patient care, and resolving complex clinical issues. The Cardiac Care Nurse 3 will also mentor intermediate-level nurses and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient care delivery.

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives focused on improving nursing practices within the assigned unit.
  • Participate in the development of protocols and processes to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency.
  • Work towards achieving high staff engagement and patient experience.
  • Ensure the achievement and sustainment of high quality of care and patient safety standards.
  • Support the empowerment of nurses through the integration of the JHAH nursing Professional Practice Model.

Operational Duties

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care services, with a focus on complex cases.
  • Assist in workflow management, ensuring proper resource utilization, and providing mentorship to junior nurses.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and participate in the evaluation of patient outcomes.
  • Achieve and/or maintain the mandated activities for level 3, requiring a minimum total of 20 points across at least four categories within each 12-month cycle, as outlined in the Clinical Advancement Program.
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care from admission through discharge, specific to the patient's age.
  • Provide nursing care and patient/family education consistent with the plan of care and patient needs, respecting privacy, dignity, personal preference, and culture, utilizing appropriate resources.
  • Precept new hires and trainees during their probation training period and contribute to recommendations regarding their progress and training needs.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergency and life-saving situations using clinical skills, critical thinking, and evidence-based practices.
  • Perform a wide range of nursing procedures with attention to accuracy, patient safety, and comfort, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment.
  • Administer Chemotherapy and Biotherapy medications upon completion of the required chemotherapy competency.
  • Utilize standard guidelines and policy to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans for Palliative Care and Cellular Therapy patients.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide advanced-level nursing care.
  • Proficiency in managing complex clinical issues and mentoring junior staff.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dhahran, within a multidisciplinary healthcare team at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare.
