About the Role

Autobia is seeking a Content & Communications Specialist to join its team in Dhahran, Eastern region. This full-time role is central to managing all merchant-facing communications, ensuring clarity and consistency across various digital channels. The specialist will be responsible for crafting and overseeing the Arabic content that merchants interact with daily, from in-app notifications to website copy. This position requires a strong Arabic writer who can make data-backed decisions regarding communication channels and content structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own merchant lifecycle messaging across WhatsApp, Crisp, in-app notifications, and email, including inventory management, rewriting, and ongoing governance.
  • Determine appropriate message channels and establish guidelines, collaborating with product and support teams.
  • Write brand and product copy, including content for inventory financing products and sales talking points.
  • Build and maintain the Arabic terminology list, ensuring agreed wording for products, roles, actions, and statuses across all platforms.
  • Develop and manage the Arabic editorial style guide and tone tiers for each communication channel.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels for both Autobia and Qasima Plus.
  • Produce the customer support guidebook and macro library, and train the support team on its usage.
  • Write Arabic content for the Autobia and Qasima Plus websites.
  • Collaborate with growth marketing to baseline message performance and measure the impact of content changes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media, Literature, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of professional writing experience in Arabic, with Modern Standard Arabic as the working register.
  • A proven track record of owning a messaging system end-to-end, covering customer lifecycle, support content, or product content.
  • Demonstrated editorial discipline, including experience with style guides, terminology management, and ensuring consistency at scale.
  • Comfortable interpreting support and engagement data to inform and adjust communication strategies.
  • Excellent writing skills in Arabic; working English proficiency for internal tools and stakeholder communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within fintech, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), marketplaces, or e-commerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with the WhatsApp Business API and communication tools such as Crisp.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving processes.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dhahran, Eastern region. The role operates within a dynamic environment that values data-driven decisions and consistent communication standards across all merchant touchpoints.
