Role Overview
As an Electro Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the troubleshooting, testing, assembly, disassembly, and visual inspection of mechanical assemblies. This full-time role, based in Dhahran, Eastern region, also involves assisting in the repair and modification of non-conforming equipment, executing all required tests with minimal instruction.
Key Responsibilities
- Review procedures to ensure accuracy in assembly, disassembly, and test verification.
- Configure test stations and systems as required.
- Analyze and interpret data derived from environmental tests, and troubleshoot identified equipment problems.
- Assist Engineering and Reliability groups in setting up experiments and accurately recording experimental data.
- Test and evaluate the performance of general purpose test equipment, performing repairs if necessary.
- Provide leadership and coaching to other technicians in areas where competence has been established.
- Ensure all work is conducted in strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A 2-year technical diploma or an Associate's degree in an Electrical/Electronics field or higher.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in an electro-mechanical function, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
- Advanced skills in soldering, assembling, and troubleshooting electro-mechanical devices.
- Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.
- Proficiency in the use of measurement and gauging equipment and associated processes.
- Proficiency in operating multimeters, megohmmeters, hi-pot testers, and other fundamental instruments.
Work Environment and Location
This is a full-time position based in Dhahran, located within the Eastern region. The role operates within a team-oriented environment focused on maintaining high standards of safety and operational efficiency.
