Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is seeking a dedicated Emergency Nurse 3 to join our team in Dhahran. This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide advanced-level nursing care within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Role Summary

The Emergency Nurse 3 delivers advanced nursing care within an assigned unit, focusing on supporting operational processes and maintaining high standards of patient care. This role involves assisting in the resolution of complex clinical issues, mentoring intermediate-level nurses, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient care delivery.

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at improving nursing practices within the assigned unit.
  • Participate in the development of protocols and processes to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency.
  • Work towards achieving high staff engagement and patient experience.
  • Ensure the achievement and sustainment of high quality of care and patient safety standards.
  • Support the empowerment of nurses through the integration of the JHAH nursing Professional Practice Model.

Key Operational Duties

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care services, with a focus on complex cases.
  • Assist in managing workflow, optimizing resource utilization, and providing mentorship to junior nurses.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and participate in the evaluation of patient outcomes.
  • Achieve and maintain the mandated activities for level 3, requiring a minimum of 20 points across at least four categories within each 12-month cycle, as outlined in the Clinical Advancement Program.
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care from admission through discharge, tailored to the patient's age.
  • Provide nursing care and patient/family education consistent with the plan of care and patient needs, respecting privacy, dignity, personal preference, and culture, while demonstrating acceptance, caring, and empathy.
  • Precept new hires and trainees during their probation training period and contribute recommendations regarding their progress and training needs.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergency and lifesaving situations, applying clinical skills, critical thinking, and evidence-based practices for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Perform a wide range of nursing procedures in assigned Emergency facilities, prioritizing accuracy, patient safety, and comfort, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in nursing.
