About the Registered Nurse Role
Fakeeh Care Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care that transforms patient lives within a clinical setting. We are looking for candidates with 0-1 years of experience in nursing.
Core Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans, and meticulously maintaining medical records. This role requires close collaboration with physicians, other nurses, and various healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
Clinical Practice
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patient health, including physical examinations, vital signs, and symptom monitoring.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans based on patient assessments and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions.
- Provide wound care, including cleaning, dressing, and monitoring for signs of infection.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during medical procedures and diagnostic tests.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
- Observe and record patients' conditions, including changes in symptoms or behaviors, and report any significant changes to the medical team.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
- Conduct purposeful rounding for patients to ensure their needs are met, prevent complications, and improve overall care quality.
- Adhere to strict infection control standards, including hand hygiene, personal protective equipment (PPE) use, and proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Participate in infection control surveillance and reporting to help prevent facility-acquired infection.
- Maintain the cleanliness of patient items and equipment as per Fakeeh Care policies.
- Follow established protocols for different emergencies (*, codes, and RRT), ensuring patient safety and effective response.
- Innovate in patient care and implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
Administrative and Collaborative Contributions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient care records, including observations, interventions, and responses.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families, addressing concerns and offering reassurance during stressful times.
- Advocate for patients' needs and preferences, ensuring that their rights are respected and their voices are heard.
- Oversee the work of junior staff and nursing students, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.
- Identify and address issues or challenges in patient care and contribute to solutions and improvements in practice.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing manager within the scope of the job.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 0-1 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
