FLOP Technical Instructors

About the Role

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking FLOP Technical Instructors to lead and conduct specialist training functions in support of TSI. This full-time role is based in Dhahran and involves delivering both new and existing training courses, developing training support materials, and ensuring student welfare and progress. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and lead specialist training functions, conducting specialist training in support of TSI.
• Deliver new and existing training courses, including theory and practical-based On-the-Job Training (OJT) and training consolidation.
• Operate complex training aids and FLOP Labs effectively and safely, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
• Produce training support materials such as lesson plans, quizzes, and handouts to meet training requirements.
• Ensure the general welfare of students during training activities and monitor performance to maximize progress towards training objectives.
• Teach common modules within the common course or any other identified related specialty.
• Conduct cadet assessment and evaluation exercises, implementing remedial action as needed.
• Counsel students regarding academic performance or behavior when required.
• Review FLOP courseware for potential improvements.
• Maintain classroom procedures as published in TSI, including discipline.
• Document work as necessary, including attendance, reports, cadet portfolios, STS, End of Phase Reports, and schemes of work.
• Stay updated on subject developments and attend staff development courses as required by the customer or company.
• Maintain Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• Utilize IT systems and TMIS/LMS platforms to support training operations and maintain accurate training records.
• Apply planning and organizing skills to meet precise timings required by training programs.

• Perform other duties as deemed reasonable and appropriate by the business.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a relevant technical instruction or training role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead specialist training functions.
• Proficiency in operating complex training aids and FLOP Labs.
• Experience in producing training support materials.
• Familiarity with IT systems and TMIS/LMS platforms for training management.
