Supply Technical Instructor

About the Role

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking a Supply Technical Instructor to join their team in Dhahran. This full-time role involves providing specialist technical instruction, taking direction and support from the Senior Instructor – OFF A/C to ensure responsibilities are met within project timescales and customer expectations. The instructor will lead specialist training functions and conduct training in support of TSI.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach common modules in the common course or other identified related modules.
• Analyze, design, produce, develop, and deliver new and existing training courses, ensuring alignment with customer needs regarding time, cost, and specification.
• Research, write, and validate advanced training notes.
• Provide specialist training inputs as a subject matter expert for the bidding process, responding to customer inquiries and training proposals.
• Specify, design, and develop appropriate and effective training aids, including computer-aided instruction and advanced desktop training systems.
• Produce training support materials such as curriculum, training objectives, syllabuses, course plans, and assessment/evaluation methods.
• Maintain and review technical expertise to ensure compatibility with technical advances and evolving needs.
• Conduct cadet assessment, GOLDesp, and evaluation exercises, implementing remedial action as required.
• Plan, control, and deliver assigned courses, and contribute support to cross-discipline courses/investigations.
• Counsel students regarding academic performance or behavior as needed.
• Review courseware for improvement and maintain classroom procedures as published in the TSI, including discipline.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Detailed understanding of the design and operation of complex and integrated systems, enabling theoretical and practical applications in training and operational environments (*, sufficient to teach detailed maintenance procedures, fault diagnosis, and defect rectification).
• Ability to operate complex training aids and simulators effectively and safely.
• Strong analytical skills and good knowledge of relevant analytical techniques.
• Detailed knowledge in the operation and use of IT systems to support relevant systems (computer-aided instruction, desktop publishing, databases, training development software).

Required Skills

• Sound business awareness and good interpersonal skills to teach specialist skills and knowledge across diverse cultures, status, intellect, and technical ability.
• Understanding of internal and external customer requirements.
• Proficiency in using the TMIS / LMS system to maintain accurate, up-to-date, comprehensive, orderly, and easily accessible training records.
