Role Overview

The Lead Assistant Engineer SMP will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient execution and successful completion of capital projects. This position requires a professional who can effectively apply engineering principles, interpret performance data, and coordinate various project activities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining project timelines and facilitating seamless collaboration among all involved parties.

Key Responsibilities

• Possess strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills with the capacity to interpret and analyze KPI and performance data.
• Apply knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies in project execution.
• Provide support for both small and large-scale capital projects.
• Coordinate activities and resolve issues among proponents, contractors, and other relevant parties to ensure construction activities progress according to plan and achieve mechanical completion.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering or other related engineering fields.
• 0 - 2 years of experience in Project Management or other relevant professional experience.
• Internship, Co-op, or training experience in project management, Operational Excellence, or performance management is preferred.

Essential Skills and Methodologies

• Demonstrated capability to interpret and analyze Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and other performance data effectively.
• Proficiency in applying Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to project and operational challenges.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude and analytical thinking.
