Lecturer in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

The Department of Accounting & Finance at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, is seeking qualified Saudi candidates for a full-time Lecturer position. This role is integral to supporting the department's academic objectives in both research and teaching within the fields of Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Lecturer will contribute to the academic mission of the Department of Accounting & Finance by engaging in scholarly activities and delivering high-quality instruction. This position involves active participation in the intellectual life of the university, fostering academic growth among students, and contributing to the department's research output.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out teaching duties in relevant subjects.
• Conducting research aligned with departmental goals.
• Providing academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Performing administrative duties as assigned by the department.
• Undertaking any other academic duties assigned by the academic department concerned.

Required Qualifications

• An earned Master’s degree from a reputable university in one of the following fields: Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Completion of a full-time Master’s degree program with very good grades.
• Certificate equivalency is required if the Master's degree was obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Work Commitment

This is a full-time position requiring a commitment of approximately 35-40 hours per week for professional duties. The successful candidate will be expected to be available on campus to fulfill teaching, research, and administrative obligations.
