The Role of NST Instructor – Sonar Technician

We are seeking a dedicated NST Instructor – Sonar Technician to join our team in Dhahran. This full-time position involves delivering Naval Specialist Training (NST) at the Technical Institute for Naval Studies (TINS). The instructor will be responsible for teaching common content applicable to all NST streams, with a specific focus on content for the Sonar Technician (ST) stream.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the Naval Speciality Training curriculum, with particular emphasis on Sonar Technician specific elements.
  • Support invigilation activities during assessments.
  • Provide support for remedial training activities as required.
  • Develop and write assessment materials.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of courseware materials and media.
  • Prepare and write Trainee reports to meet customer requirements.
  • Operate with a standard of absolute integrity and professionalism.
  • Ensure the completion of any other reasonable request from the NST Management Team that aligns with Company business objectives.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Graduate of an advanced military trade school, industrial equivalent, or a relevant educational establishment.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Instructional Techniques course.
  • Substantial practical experience within their speciality.
  • Recent instructional experience.

Desirable Attributes

  • Completion of a FACET training course.
