About BAE Systems Saudi Arabia

BAE Systems operates as the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under Government-to-Government arrangements, delivering essential equipment, support, and training to Saudi Arabia. The Role of Academic Science Instructor

We are seeking an Academic Science Instructor to join our team in Dhahran. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver Academic Science (AS) curriculum at the Technical Institute for Naval Studies (TINS). Instructors will teach the principles of general health & safety within an engineering environment, mathematics, engineering science, and specific units aligned with the City & Guilds 2850 curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the NTT Academic Science curriculum effectively.
  • Support invigilation activities during assessments.
  • Assist with remedial training activities for cadets.
  • Develop and write assessment materials.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of courseware materials and media.
  • Prepare and submit cadet reports as required to meet customer specifications.
  • Operate with absolute integrity and professionalism in all duties.
  • Complete any other reasonable requests from the AS Senior Instructor that align with Company business objectives.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Scientific or Engineering discipline.
  • A recognized teaching qualification such as a BEd or PGCE, or government recognition as a teacher.
  • Recent experience teaching Mathematics, Science, or Engineering subjects.
  • For non-native English language speakers, a minimum overall IELTS score of , with speaking and listening band scores of *

Desirable Attributes

  • Extensive knowledge of City & Guilds (C&G) and/or EASA regulatory clause compliance requirements and associated privileges.
  • An understanding of large companies’ operational practices and procedures.
