About the Role

Qode is seeking an experienced SAP Integration Consultant with expertise in SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) / Integration Suite to lead the SAP integration workstream. This full-time position involves the design and hands-on development of real-time, API-based integration between an MRO platform and SAP material master/inventory data. The role encompasses both architectural design and build responsibilities, as well as supporting the client's cybersecurity approval process. The role is based in Dhahran and Al Khobar.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and document the integration approach and the APIs to be utilized.
• Produce architecture diagrams and detailed data flow documentation.
• Confirm the necessity of any custom development (ABAP/side-by-side).
• Build, configure, test, and deploy real-time CPI integrations to SAP material master and inventory.
• Support the client's cybersecurity approval process, focusing on secure connectivity, authentication, and certificates.
• Estimate CPI message volumes and associated run costs.
• Provide support for rollout initiatives, extending from the initial pilot plant to all plants.

Technical Expertise Required

Candidates must possess significant technical depth in the following areas:

• SAP CPI / Integration Suite: Demonstrated hands-on experience building integration flows (iFlows), including the use of content modifiers, message mapping, routers, splitters, and exception subprocesses. Experience with deployment and lifecycle management within the tenant is essential.
• SAP MM Data: Working knowledge of material master and inventory structures (*, MARA/MARC/MARD/MBEW or equivalent), movement/stock data, and how MRO-relevant fields map to downstream consumers.
• Integration Protocols: Proficiency with OData, IDoc, BAPI, and RFC, including the ability to select the appropriate mechanism per use case and implement it within CPI.
• REST and SOAP APIs: Experience building and consuming both types of APIs, including payload transformation (JSON/XML), WSDL handling, and adapter configuration.
• Integration Architecture: Proven ability in end-to-end data flow design, interface specification, error handling and retry strategy development, and consideration of throughput/latency for real-time integration scenarios.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with SAP BTP and S/4HANA.
• Experience with secure connectivity methods such as Cloud Connector, OAuth, and certificate-based authentication to support cybersecurity sign-off.
• Knowledge of API management.
• Experience with message monitoring and structured error handling.

Role Context

This role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The consultant will be instrumental in ensuring seamless and secure data exchange between critical business systems. The focus is on practical implementation and architectural soundness to meet client requirements.
