About the Role

Shawerma Ghannam is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager / Financial Controller to lead its accounting team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and involves overseeing financial reporting across the company's restaurant brands, including Ghannam, SMKD, and Hattab. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the accounting team and manage daily accounting operations.
Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
Manage financial reporting for individual branches, brands, and the consolidated group.
Monitor food costs, labor costs, inventory levels, and overall profitability.
Oversee reconciliations, budgeting processes, and cash-flow forecasting.
Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and ZATCA requirements.
Maintain and improve existing QuickBooks accounting processes.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
At least 1 year of experience specifically within the Food & Beverage or Restaurant industry.
Proven experience managing accounting for multi-branch restaurant operations.
Demonstrated experience supervising an accounting team.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software.
Proficiency in financial reporting principles and practices.
Solid understanding of Saudi VAT and ZATCA regulations.
Strong analytical skills for financial data interpretation.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Work Environment

This role is a full-time position within the finance department of Shawerma Ghannam, supporting its restaurant brands. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment focused on financial oversight and reporting for multi-branch operations in Jeddah, Makkah.
