About the Cashier Role

General Contracting Company is seeking a full-time Cashier to manage daily cash transactions for the branch in Jeddah. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and adherence to company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive cash and cheques from Parts and Service customers, issue receipts, and update customer files.
  • Post all cash and cheque transactions accurately into the system.
  • Complete monthly sales invoicing in a timely manner.
  • Bank all post-dated cheques (PDCs) and reconcile them against client accounts.
  • Deposit cash into the bank on a daily basis.
  • Manage and reconcile the petty cash fund.
  • Upload completed work into the system.
  • Contribute to process improvements and maintain procedure documentation.
  • Acquire knowledge of key roles and responsibilities of other team members.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

Required Qualifications

  • A Diploma in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field.

Experience and Skills

Candidates should possess at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. The ability to manage daily cash transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company procedures is essential. Familiarity with invoicing and reconciliation processes is expected.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in our branch located in Jeddah. The role involves direct management of branch cash flow and customer transactions.
