DeepSource is seeking a CCNP Security Engineer for a 3-month full-time contract based in Jeddah, KSA. This role involves providing dedicated security engineering support to a major client within an enterprise environment.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will apply strong hands-on experience with Cisco Security technologies and Palo Alto Firewalls. Key functions include implementation, administration, troubleshooting, and operational support for critical network security infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite resident engineering support for enterprise network security infrastructure.
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Cisco security solutions.
• Manage and support Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls.
• Monitor security infrastructure performance and ensure high availability.
• Investigate and resolve security incidents and network connectivity issues.
• Implement firewall policies, NAT, VPNs, and security rules.
• Perform software upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
• Work closely with customer IT and security teams.
• Produce technical documentation, operational reports, and incident records.
• Participate in change management activities following ITIL processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Higher Diploma.
• No previous experience required (0-1 years of experience).
• Strong foundational understanding of Cisco Security technologies and Palo Alto Firewalls is essential.

Work Environment and Duration

This is a full-time, 3-month contract position based in Jeddah, KSA. The role requires working onsite and collaborating closely with the client's internal IT and security teams to ensure robust security operations.
