About the Role

Accenture is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time role focuses on the day-to-day operation and support of network security services. The primary objective is to ensure the secure and reliable functioning of our network infrastructure and threat management solutions across various environments.

Core Responsibilities

The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for a range of tasks critical to maintaining a robust security posture. Key duties include:

• Operating, monitoring, and supporting various Network Security tools, such as Firewalls, WAF, API Security, DDoS, IPS, Mail gateways, Proxy, and NAC solutions.
• Managing Firewall Policy Creation and Change Management, including leveraging AlgoSec for policy reviews and validations.
• Performing Web Application Firewall and API Security Operations, specifically managing F5 WAF and API security to protect web applications.
• Administering and troubleshooting network security devices and platforms to ensure secure configurations, availability, and performance in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Implementing and managing patching, upgrades, and signature updates for network security solutions, adhering to organization-approved processes.

Security Enhancement and Support

This role also involves proactive measures and support functions to continuously improve and maintain network security:

• Continuously evaluating operational effectiveness, identifying gaps, and driving improvement initiatives to enhance the overall network security posture.
• Supporting the troubleshooting of network and security issues, which includes traffic analysis and packet capture, to achieve quick and effective resolutions.
• Maintaining and updating comprehensive operational documentation to ensure consistent and efficient network security practices.
• Supporting audit and reporting activities to provide transparency into network security operations.
• Escalating complex issues or potential threats as necessary to ensure efficient and effective resolution.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 0-1 years of experience in network security engineering or a related field. We are looking for individuals who are dedicated and possess foundational skills in network security operations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, contributing to Accenture's network security team.
