About the Role

Leylaty Group is seeking a dedicated Chef De Partie (Catering) to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time role involves overseeing a specific kitchen section, preparing high-quality dishes, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations within our central catering unit and at off-site events. The Chef De Partie reports to the Sous Chefs and ultimately to the Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef, playing a crucial, hands-on role in high-volume production and event service.

Key Responsibilities: Culinary Production

• Manage and run a designated kitchen section during production, ensuring all assigned prep and cooking tasks are completed accurately and on schedule for events.
• Maintain strict adherence to established recipes, portion control guidelines, and high standards of taste and presentation for all food prepared.
• Execute large-batch cooking and production methods efficiently while upholding the quality required for fine dining and large-scale catering.
• Ensure impeccable cleanliness and organization of the workstation and equipment, strictly following all HACCP and food safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities: Event Execution

• Travel to off-site event locations to execute cooking, finishing, and plating tasks as directed by the Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine.
• Assist in the meticulous loading, setup, operation, and careful breakdown of temporary kitchen equipment and food items at event venues.
• Take direct responsibility for the final plating and garnishing of dishes to ensure presentation consistency that meets client expectations.
• Act as a communication link between event chef leadership and junior staff to ensure the smooth flow of service.

Leadership and Operational Support

• Train, mentor, and supervise Demi Chef De Parties and Commis Chefs assigned to the station, ensuring adherence to all procedures and quality standards.
• Communicate production needs, inventory shortages, and equipment issues clearly to the Sous Chefs and kitchen management team.
• Monitor product freshness, rotate stock, and assist with inventory counts and organization for the designated station.
