About the Role

We are seeking a Chemistry Lecturer to join our General Education Program in Jeddah. This is a part-time position, and the specific salary is not disclosed.

Key Responsibilities

The Chemistry Lecturer will be responsible for delivering assigned courses in accordance with the contract. Key duties include:

• Teaching assigned courses as per contract.
• Preparing course syllabi for all taught courses.
• Developing and maintaining course files and reports for taught courses.
• Providing regular feedback to students on their academic progress.
• Posting course grades on Blackboard in compliance with university policy.
• Advising the Department Chair/Director of any concerns related to assigned courses.
• Preparing necessary class materials prior to the commencement of each session.
• Attending departmental council meetings when available.
• Exploring and implementing new ideas and innovative teaching strategies for the courses taught.

Required Qualifications

Candidates for this position must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Chemistry.

Experience and Work Type

The role requires between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience. This is a part-time employment opportunity.
