About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Corporate Procurement Senior Buyer to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to implementing and coordinating the procurement of non-trading materials, supplies, equipment, and services, ensuring efficient and compliant operations across the company.

Core Responsibilities

The Corporate Procurement Senior Buyer manages various aspects of the procurement lifecycle, from initial sourcing and vendor engagement to ensuring timely delivery and adherence to internal policies. Key areas of responsibility include:

• Sourcing and managing vendor relationships to secure optimal products and services.
• Overseeing the delivery process of procured goods and services.
• Processing purchase orders and ensuring compliance with procurement requirements.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to define and develop specifications for various needs.

Vendor Management and Sourcing

• Source optimal products with the latest technologies by engaging with diverse vendors across multiple markets to serve business needs.
• Establish and maintain solid professional relationships with vendors through continuous negotiation and occasional field visits to obtain favorable pricing and discount structures.
• Regularly update the supplier list by introducing new vendors or eliminating outdated ones to ensure dealing with the best in the market.
• Analyze vendor performance by evaluating all quotes and coordinating with vendors to provide required bids and improve the overall purchasing process.

Procurement Operations and Compliance

• Work with internal and external stakeholders by reviewing their requests to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements.
• Monitor and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods as per agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and specifications.
• Create Purchase Orders (POs) by transferring approved Purchase Requisitions (PRs) into POs, authorizing suppliers to commence work.
• Review Purchase Requisitions for accuracy in terms of amounts, account numbers, and number of lines to ensure compliance with Nahdi’s NTI Purchasing requirements.

Specifications Development and Collaboration

• Assist in the development of specifications for equipment, materials, and services by discussing the general needs of each project.
• Suggest alternative solutions to ensure the acquisition of optimal products and services for each project or request.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in corporate procurement.
