About the Senior Buyer Role

NICE ONE is seeking a Senior Buyer to join its procurement team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves managing sourcing and purchasing activities, fostering supplier relationships, and ensuring timely product delivery. The successful candidate will contribute to cost-saving and inventory optimization initiatives within a fast-paced environment.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The Senior Buyer plays a critical role in maintaining supply chain efficiency and effectiveness. This position requires strong negotiation skills and analytical ability to secure competitive terms and ensure product availability. The role involves significant cross-functional collaboration to align procurement with broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories to ensure supply continuity, quality, and competitive pricing.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; manage ongoing supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and resolve performance or quality issues promptly.
• Create and issue purchase orders, monitor order confirmations, track deliveries, and ensure accuracy of pricing and terms in accordance with company policy.
• Lead negotiations for pricing, lead times, payment terms, and service levels to achieve cost savings and improve total cost of ownership.
• Collaborate with demand planning and warehouse teams to maintain appropriate inventory levels, reduce excess stock, and minimize stockouts.
• Work closely with product, quality, logistics, and finance teams to align procurement activities with business needs and ensure smooth product launches and replenishment.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements; identify and mitigate supply risks.
• Prepare regular reports on spend, supplier performance, savings, and market trends; use data to inform sourcing decisions and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of procurement processes, systems, and tools to increase efficiency and transparency.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Buyer, with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated strong negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical ability for data-driven decision making.
• Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented approach to procurement activities.
