About the Role

Mujahid Page is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role is essential for managing product costing, cost analysis, inventory valuation, and financial reporting within a building materials company. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze product, production, and material costs.
• Monitor raw materials, inventory, labor, and manufacturing overheads.
• Calculate product costs, margins, and profitability.
• Analyze cost variances and recommend cost-control measures.
• Monitor inventory valuation, stock movements, wastage, and material consumption.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, warehouse, and finance teams.
• Assist with month-end closing, reconciliations, and audit requirements.
• Develop cost reports and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant experience as a Cost Accountant, preferably in building materials or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of costing methods, inventory accounting, and cost control.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, with responsibilities covering operations in both Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves collaboration with various internal teams including production, procurement, warehouse, and finance.
