About the Role

GE Aerospace is seeking a Customer MRO Consultant to join its team in the Makkah region, specifically covering operations in Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position involves working directly within a customer's MRO Support team, providing expert guidance and sharing best practices across multiple operational workstreams.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that the customer's skill base, processes, procedures, repair strategy, and growth initiatives are effectively aligned with current business demands. The consultant will also be responsible for ensuring these elements can be scaled efficiently as the organization expands, contributing to sustainable operational improvements and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and support the Saudi Technic (ST) JPC team to meet both current and future business requirements.
  • Provide oversight support for ST MRO Planning, Materials, Customer Support, and Repair processes.
  • Collaborate as part of a cross-functional GE Team focused on delivering sustainable Turnaround Time (TAT) and efficiency improvements within ST MRO operations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of an ST Repair Strategy and growth plan, ensuring alignment with machine capability and available repair licenses.
  • Support the ST team in the development and execution of a comprehensive shop transition plan.
  • Develop and utilize data-based metrics to monitor performance and champion continuous improvement for the customer across multiple workstreams.
  • Maintain GE business metrics, providing regular updates to the MRO Program Leadership team, project core team, and senior steering committee.
  • Implement a standardized communication process and metrics package.
  • Assist in the development, reporting, and analysis of first-time yield within the repair processes.
  • Actively support and encourage the application of Lean Six Sigma and change management tools and techniques.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience in a relevant field. This role requires an individual with a strong background in MRO operations, process optimization, and team development, capable of working effectively in a collaborative and diverse environment.
