Job Description

About the Role

RiDiK, a subsidiary of CLPS (Nasdaq: CLPS), is seeking a Data Architect to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on defining and governing end-to-end Informatica DEI/BDM architecture, aligning it with our Data Lakehouse strategy. The Data Architect will be instrumental in designing enterprise data integration patterns, establishing architecture standards, and leading critical remediation and modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and govern the end-to-end Informatica DEI/BDM architecture, ensuring alignment with the Data Lakehouse strategy.
  • Design enterprise data integration patterns for batch, micro-batch, and real-time processing.
  • Establish architecture standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices across development and operations.
  • Review and approve technical designs, mappings, workflows, and deployment models.
  • Mentor development teams and conduct architecture reviews to ensure adherence to standards.

Data Integration and Processing

  • Design ingestion and transformation pipelines across various data layers (Source Systems → Bronze, Bronze → Silver, Silver → Gold, Gold → FS-LDM / FSAS).
  • Architect scalable ETL/ELT solutions for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, ensuring metadata-driven development.
  • Lead architecture and governance for Informatica DEI, Informatica Big Data Management (BDM), Blaze Engine, and Spark-based processing.
  • Architect real-time and near real-time integration using Informatica PowerExchange, CDC, event-driven ingestion patterns, and Kafka integration.
  • Design Informatica execution frameworks on Cloudera Data Platform (CDP), Hadoop Ecosystem, and Spark Clusters.
  • Design integrations with Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, APIs, and Messaging platforms, optimizing source extraction and target load performance.

Governance and Performance Optimization

  • Implement metadata management, lineage, and impact analysis, ensuring compliance with enterprise data governance standards.
  • Define optimization strategies for Mappings, Workflows, Blaze executions, and Spark jobs to ensure scalability, fault tolerance, and high availability.
  • Review existing Informatica implementations, identify design, scalability, and performance gaps, and lead remediation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Data Engineers, Cloudera Platform Teams, and Business Stakeholders, providing technical leadership across teams.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience with Informatica.
  • Informatica Expertise: Strong proficiency in Informatica DEI, Informatica BDM, Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica PowerExchange, and Informatica Metadata Manager.
  • Big Data & Cloud: Experience with Cloudera Data Platform (CDP), Hadoop Ecosystem, Spark, Hive, HDFS, and Kafka.
  • Data Architecture: Expertise in Data Lakehouse Architecture, Bronze, Silver, Gold Layer Design, Data Modeling Concepts, Metadata-Driven Architecture, and Data Governance Frameworks.
  • Databases: Experience with Oracle, Teradata, and SQL Server databases, including performance tuning and optimization.
  • Architectural Skills: Strong skills in Enterprise Integration Architecture, ETL/ELT Design Patterns, Real-time Processing Architectures, Capacity Planning, Scalability & High Availability Design, and DevOps & CI/CD Integration.
  • Domain Knowledge: Domain expertise in Banking & Financial Services (BFSI), Regulatory Reporting, Customer, Finance, Risk, and Treasury Data Domains. Experience with FSLDM / FSAS is highly preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires supporting 24x7 production environments and critical BFSI workloads, ensuring operational excellence and resilience.
