The Supply Analytics Team

The Supply Analytics team provides data-driven insights and decision support to optimize Agoda’s supply ecosystem. This involves analyzing partner and marketplace dynamics, developing forecasts and models, conducting experiments, and creating scalable dashboards and data products. The team's work directly contributes to improving inventory quality, partner economics, and Agoda's long-term growth.

The Opportunity for a Senior Analyst

Agoda is seeking a Senior Analyst for its Supply Analytics team. This full-time, individual contributor role is based in Bangkok, with relocation assistance provided. The Senior Analyst will report to either a Senior Manager or Associate Director within the Supply Department and will be empowered to work directly with partners on the ground, supported by the Supply team and collaborating with other teams across Agoda.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate internal briefs into analytical projects, including refining initial requirements, developing hypotheses, and storyboarding outputs.
• Utilize and analyze data from large-scale data warehouses to present statistically robust analyses to various business stakeholders.
• Proactively identify growth opportunities within the supply domain and the broader business.
• Drive new analytical initiatives and projects focused on enhancing organizational efficiency and shaping Agoda's supply strategy.
• Identify, support, and lead projects aimed at scaling the Supply organization's leverage of data, insights, and intelligence.
• Automate manual operational processes and report on time savings achieved through business modernization efforts.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A solid understanding of statistical modeling or machine learning techniques (*, hypothesis testing, regression, logistic regression, random forest).
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, with comfort presenting to senior leadership and C-suite executives.
• Experience in conducting A/B testing experimentation.
• Strong experience in extracting data insights and providing actionable business recommendations.
• A "hacker’s mindset," characterized by the ability to develop simple, clever, and elegant solutions to new problems under resource, operational, and time constraints. This requires a deep understanding of the business, creative problem-solving, and expertise in data, analytics, automation, programming, and prototyping.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including strong presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• A data-driven approach to both decision-making and performance measurement.
• Comfort and adaptability in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and coordinate resources.

Preferred Qualifications

• Program management certifications (*, PMI, PRINCE2) complementing program management experience.
• Experience within the Asian market.
• Background in the travel industry, e-commerce, technology, or consulting.
